What Would You Say
|
MAMMOTH1
|
1994
|
1. What Would You Say (UTTAD) (3:42) |
I really don't know
what to think about this one. I have only seen a few copies of it floating
around. Good luck finding this one!

What Would You Say

CDX-1513
|
1994
|
1. What Would You Say (3:40) |
Extremely rare Mexican
promo single for the band's first single. Interestingly enough, the
title of the other track on this promo CD is "Crash"from the
Dumb and Dumber soundtrack. Good luck finding this one!

UTTAD Radio Interview
|
DMB003
|
1995
|
17 tracks of interviews with the band |
This disc is also
extremely hard to find. In fact, I have yet to obtain a copy of this
one for myself. Includes nothing but a bunch of questions for the band
regarding UTTAD.

Before These Crowded Streets
- Pop-Up Digipack Sampler

DMB101
|
1998
|
1. Don't Drink the Water (Edit) (4:05) 2. Stay (Wasting Time) (Excerpt) (1:25) 3. Crush (Excerpt) (2:08) 4. Rapunzel (Excerpt) (2:35) |
This is a very nice
promo from Europe that features all kinds of CD-Rom goodies along with
the four tracks listed to the left. This had a very cool clear sleeve
with the rings printed on it. It also has an interesting little cutout
of the band. Check out the scans!

Before These Crowded Streets

|
1998
|
1. Don't Drink the Water (Edit) (4:05) 2. Stay (Wasting Time) (Excerpt) (1:25) 3. Crush (Excerpt) (2:08) 4. Rapunzel (Excerpt) (2:35) |
This is a very hard
to find disc as not many of them were made and most were probably thrown
away. Nothing really fancy, just a cool collector's item. Note the different
UK release date for BTCS of June 22, 1998.

1. Don't Drink the Water (Edit) (4:35) 2. Stay (Wasting Time) (Album) (5:35) 3. Crush (Edit) (4:12) 4. Rapunzel (Album version) (6:00) |
This disc is fairly
hard to find as well. I'm not real sure how this disc came about, but
it appears to another ploy to get the UK hip to DMB.

Various tracks of question and answer regarding Before These Crowded Streets. |
Yet another quite
difficult disc to locate. Some pretty interesting questions and answers
on this about BTCS.

CDX-1931
|
1998
|
1. Don't Drink the Water (Edit) (4:35) |
This Mexican promo
is extremely hard to obtain and is quite a nice collectible due to the
BTCS cover art on front.

|
1. Don't Drink the Water (Edit) (4:35) |
This promo in the
EU is fairly hard to find. Artwork is similar to the three track Australian
promo above. Interesting text on this disc, asking not to be played
on the radio before 4/1/1998.

1. Crush (Edit) (4:12) |
Yet another extremely
tough to find Spanish/Mexican promo disc. This disc did not come with
any cover art to the best of my knowledge.

|
1. Crash Into Me 2. Ants Marching 3. Stay 4. Too Much 5. Crush 6. So Much To Say 7. Don't Drink the Water 8. What Would You Say (All album versions) |
This is an extremely
rare promo CD that was issued to a few record stores in Canada to try
and boost sales up North. I have only seen a few copies of this CD and
actually don't have one myself!

I Did It
|
PROCD21169
|
2001
|
1. I Did It (US Radio Edit) (3:38) 2. I Did It (UK Radio Edit) (3:16) |
This is also a little
harder to find than your standard imports. Made in Australia, this disc
features the two radio edits common to other I Did It import discs.

I Did It
|
CDX-1931
|
2001
|
1. I Did It (Album Version) (3:38) |
This Mexican promo
is extremely hard to obtain. The rest of the CD is a bit rough to listen
to, but this is still nice to have given the novelty of the Mexican
promo discs.

The Space Between
|
SB02
|
2001
|
1. The Space Between (Radio Edit) (3:34) |
This promo was believed
to be handed out to a few people about the same time Dave was over in
London promoting the release of Everyday. I have seen very few, if any,
other copies of this CD, so I'm assuming it to be quite rare. There
is also an SB01, which I have yet to see.

2001
|
1. The Space Between (4:02) 2. I Did It (3:36) 3. Angel (3:57) 4. When the World Ends (3:31) 5. Everyday (4:44) |
This was just a
quick 5 track promo RCA threw together to try and promote the upcoming
release of Everyday overseas. Nothing too exciting, but still nice to
have for collectors.

Everyday - The Daily Telegraph
|
DMBDT101
|
2001
|
1. The Space Between (Dave solo, recorded at the Kevin & Bean radio show in 3/2001) (3:48) 2. I Did It (Dave solo, recorded at the Kevin & Bean radio show in 3/2001) (3:36) 3. If I Had It All (Album version) (4:02) 4. Don't Drink the Water (Album version) (7:03) 5. Crash Into Me (Album version) (5:16) |
This was a special
disc released in The Daily Telegraph newspaper in England one Sunday
in 2001. This was part of the huge RCA campaign to get the band some
notoriety outside the States. A fairly uninspiring disc, but nice to
have for collectors.

Everyday
|
DMB05
|
2001
|
1. Everyday (Radio Edit) (4:10) |
Made in the EU, this was apparently an attempt to release Everyday as a single over in Europe. Nothing special here as it is only the radio edit version of the song.
